My Amazing Body Wrap!!

So last weekend I decided to be a brave soldier and volunteered to have a body wrap done at the Spa Show.

I was contacted by a company called Body Beautiful Contour Wrap to see if I would come check out their booth at the show as they thought it would be a product I would be interested in providing to my bridal clientele. They claim in one wrap you are guaranteed to lose 6 inches for 30 days. Me being a skeptic thought "well that's too good to be true" so when they asked are you brave enough to wear a bathing suite and have us wrap you at the show so we can show you how amazing the results are...I jumped right in!

It was a very simple and comfortable wrap. I didn't feel like I was wrapped up in a cocoon. I was free to walk and move and they gave me a lovely silver space suit to wear (-:
The end results were amazing and exceeded my expectations. I lost a whopping 9 inches and felt fantastic! The wrap is designed to release toxins from the body using a clay formula as well as contour the shape using a wrapping method that lifts and tightens.

I was so excited after it was all done and I just may have to bring this service into the salon so we can all feel amazing!!

Check me out.....(I know I look a little silly) ha ha!

My New Apprentice (-:

My gorgeous nephew Taggert loves to hang with the girls at The Pretty Boutique & Salon. Here he is chilling in the hair sink.

His Dad thinks he's going to be a hockey player but if he continues to hang with us he may end up a hairstylist haha!!

Hair and Makeup Tips

Top 5 Hair and Makeup tips every bride should know!

1. Always wash your hair the day before your wedding. The natural oils will hold your style longer.

2. Facials should be done atleast 2 weeks before the wedding day. If the skin has a bad reaction it may breakout and will need time to heal.

3. If you are coloring your hair it should be done 1 week before the wedding day. It is always a good idea to have a trim as well to ensure the hair is smooth and shiny.

4. Eyebrows are very important and should always be shaped and cleaned up the week before the wedding day.

5. It is recommended that you have a pressed powder and lipstick or gloss for touch ups. As well as some Q-tips, blot papers & tissue.
